I wanted to write a little about how things are changing, dare I say improving, and the mistakes I’ve made earlier on, which mean I need to think of new ways to help Freda and I “unlearn” that pattern/behaviour.
Below is a video of (my first attempt) to capture the work Freda has done on her “basic obedience” coupled with beginners scent work.
Freda will sit and stay (mostly) on command, she does need the hand signal to be from the same side (currently, we’re working on my consistence and supporting her do with just the words)
And before you ask? or maybe you won’t it’s the first time I videoed her, and uploaded that to YouTube and connected that recording to this WordPress site! all relatively straightforward, simple if involved. Maybe that’s worth a recording/blog and list of the steps?
